JHS Pedals Green Russian Pi "Moscow Mod" Fuzz Pedal

JHS Pedals Green Russian Pi "Moscow Mod" Fuzz Pedal

Here's What JHS Pedals Have To Say About the Green Russian Pi 'Moscow Mod': EHX has released a classic Big Muff in the Green Russian, and we want to take it a step further. We’ve created a radioactive mod that turns this classic fuzz/overdrive into a mutant tone machine. On the left side of the pedal we’ve added two toggles, the lower toggle is the Mode toggle, and the upper toggle is the RADS toggle. The Mode toggle has three positions: down is Mode 1, middle is off or stock mode, and up is Mode 2. When in the stock position none of the other modifications will affect the sound. When in Mode 1 you will have a lower gain synth style gated fuzz sound. Experiment with all the knobs to see what kind of sounds you can get. When in Mode 2, you have a high gain synth fuzz sound that will give you crazy oscillation sounds that are affected by putting all the knobs at different settings. The RADS toggle acts as a +/- toggle to give you less radiation… or more! The Geiger knob on the ride side of the pedal acts as a gain control for the feedback within the pedal. Turned all the way clockwise the feedback is fully enabled. All the way counter-clockwise is fully stock This mod goes from 60s vintage fuzz all the way to face melting modern sludge!

JHS Space Commander Boost, Chorus & Reverb Pedal

JHS Space Commander Boost, Chorus & Reverb Pedal

The JHS Space Commander will take you on a journey; to a time when screens were rounded, drums were synthesized and shoulder pads were widely available to the public as a fashion accessory. Combining 3 effects, it the Space Commander delivers a sound that immediately transports you to the ‘80s. Swirling chorus, hall reverb and a chunky clean boost rolled into one. It’ll push your amp into biting territory, while providing movement and ambience that ranges from subtle to downright otherworldly! Key features Classic 80s style effects Individual bypass toggles for each effect Simple controls for easy tweaking of your sound Master bypass footswitch so you can engage all effects at once Designed in conjunction with Robert Keeley Here’s what JHS say: The Space Commander brings you the spacey sounds of vintage chorus and reverb with a powerful clean boost on board. With simple controls and the ability to use each effect separately or engage all three effects with one stomp, you’ll find yourself fully in command of your spacial exploration like none other! So let's suit up, grab your space blaster, and prepare for take-off. The Space Commander is three-effects-in-one, with a one-knob control for each of the effects: Boost, Chorus, and Reverb. Each effect is independently engaged by a toggle below the knob, and the pedal's master on/off is the footswitch. The Boost is a simple but powerful transistor boost that can be used to give your rig more volume or send your amp into natural breakup, perfect for tube amplifiers. The Chorus is a classic swirling 80s style chorus. When increasing the Chorus control the speed increases while the depth decreases, and when decreasing it the speed decreases and the depth increases. The Reverb is a hall reverb that is perfect for adding that 80s style decay to your sound. The Reverb knob controls your reverb mix, from fully dry to fully wet. All these combined will have you screaming “Friday, I’m in love” in no time.

JHS Pedals Summing Amp Pedal

JHS Pedals Summing Amp Pedal

Blend two inputs into one using the extremely handy Summing Amp from JHS Pedals. In some instances, one of your pedals might disrupt another in a way you want to avoid. For example, if you don't want your compression pedal squeezing the life out your fuzz, the Summing Amp can solve this by running each in parallel. In Tandem Using two delay pedals at the same time in the same effects signal can cause one to delay the other. The Summing Amp will organise these to produce the clarity you imagined. Those of you who love to experiment with signal chains and effect combinations will find the Summing Amp to be an important tool in your creative arsenal.

JHS Pedals Whitey Tighty Mini Compressor Pedal

JHS Pedals Whitey Tighty Mini Compressor Pedal

Just like a pair of briefs, the JHS Whitey Tighty holds everything important in one place. A compressor pedal may not be the most obvious effect, just like your underwear. However, it does a crucial job in controlling your output you've worked hard to perfect. Innovative This is the forward-thinking JHS pedals' take on the classic effect, which levels out the volume of your guitar signal, tightens your tone and can add a bit of pluck to your sound. Better still, the Whitey Tighty pedal is micro-sized so you'll have more space to cram in all your crazy effects. Control Reduced to three simple controls, this compressor covers every use you'd have for such a stompbox. Compression gives you a wide berth to let your tone breath or squeeze it in place. Volume allows you to set it at either unity gain or boost to make up for the compression effect. While the Blend allows you to dial your clean tone into the compressed signal - essentially the grip the Whitey Tighty has on your sound. Specifications Controls: Blend, Compression, Volume Voltage: 9V Size: Micro Dimensions: 1"x 3" Input/Output: 1/4" jack

JHS Pedals The AT+ Andy Timmons Signature Drive Pedal

JHS Pedals The AT+ Andy Timmons Signature Drive Pedal

In 2016 JHS releases one of the most popular drive pedals over the last few years the AT Andy Timmons Angry Charlie style overdrive pedal. Now they are cranking it up a notch with the AT+, the same amazing overdrive pedal with an added boost section. New Boost Section The new boost section in the AT+ is a completely independent single control boost that you can kick in at any moment with the dedicated footswitch. On it's own it provides a little bit of grit, pushing your clean sound a bit up to a light crunch on some amps. Combine it with the AT drive inside though and you can take that amazing overdriven sound into a sweet sustaining lead that pops out of a mix. The Captain Meets Andy Timmons - Namm 2018 Classic Andy Timmons Drive If you loved the original AT @ Andy Timmons drive then you will love this as the main section of the pedal is exactly the same, unchanged from the winning formula they had before. Same controls, same feel, same tone just now with an added boost section. If you have never heard the original AT what can you expect? This is an amp transformer, it works great with any clean or crunch tone and turns it up to 11 with a great american style drive.

JHS Pedals Triangle Muff Illuminati Mod Distortion & Fuzz Pedal

JHS Pedals Triangle Muff Illuminati Mod Distortion & Fuzz Pedal

The Triangle Muff's brilliant vintage distortion tone is no secret. But JHS pedals have blown any conspiracy wide open with the Illuminati Mod, that adds two new settings to the legendary circuit. New Features On the left hand side of the pedal you'll see a new toggle switch. In the up position you'll get the stock, creamy Big Muff sound. Set it to middle and it opens up the distortion to become more powerful and dynamic. Push down and it saturates the tone for an aggressive fuzz, completely different to the original intention of the pedal. This setting also benefits from the dial on the right of the pedal, which lets you control the fuzz's intensity. Modded The Illuminati Mod provides you with even more tone exploration, all in the same size pedal (although you'll have to make a bit more room for the protruding switches). This pedal will no longer takes 9V batteries, so requires a power supply. Expect some minor scuffs and scratches too, as some of the pedals sent from EHX to JHS were in imperfect conditions. Specifications Controls: Volume, Sustain, Tone, Three-Way Sound Toggle, Fuzz. 9V DC Negative power Consumes 3mA

JHS 'Pumpkin Patch' Modded EHX OpAmp Big Muff

JHS 'Pumpkin Patch' Modded EHX OpAmp Big Muff

The JHS EHX Big Muff Pi OpAmp 'Pumpkin Patch' mod takes the already very popular fuzz that has become a best seller for us recently and adds a few extra controls that gives you an extra dimension of fuzz. Three Way Gate Control You might not think about it that often but the gate in a fuzz circuit actually makes a big difference to the sound. This sets not only how long the note sustains for but also the response of the fuzz to your playing. In the upright position the new gate switch on the side uses the stock gate circuit. In the middle it turns the gate up from stock and in the down position it lowers the gate compared to normal. This is the kind of control you don't think about until you have it on your pedal. Find what works for you and leave it there. Mids Control If you had to name one thing that was missing from most fuzz pedals I bet a lot of you would say an EQ section. A good mids control can really help you integrate it with your rig and find your sound. So when given this pedal JHS upped the low mids out of the box and gave you a wide sweeping mids knob on the side so you can really find your tone in the pumpkin patch.

JHS Pedals The Emperor V2 Analog Chorus & Vibrato Pedal

JHS Pedals The Emperor V2 Analog Chorus & Vibrato Pedal

In 2014 we brought you the Emperor V1, a 100% Analog Chorus/Vibrato with Tap Tempo. Now in 2018 we are proud to bring you the Emperor V2! There are two ways to look at the JHS Pedals Emperor Analog Chorus/Vibrato pedal. The Emperor V2 is a vintage-correct effect that absolutely nails the hard-to-find sound of the Arion SCH-1...but its also a do-it-all modulation solution whether you want a subtle sheen, convincing rotary simulation, or seasick vibrato. It utilizes a Bucket Brigade 3207 chipset to deliver the warmth of ‘80s-style analog chorus pedals and we've added enough onboard and outboard control to put you in command of every aspect of the Emperor’s voice. Whether spreading its warm tones or icy sheen to a pristine-sounding stereo rig... or utilizing an external expression pedal to cop realistic rotary speaker sounds on a blues gig, the Emperor can do it all. So much modulation We call the Emperor an analog chorus/vibrato. That’s just because calling it a true analog chorus/pitch vibrato with tap tempo/waveform selection/rotary speaker simulation/true stereo output/and more pedal would have been a pain to write every time. The glorious tones of a real-deal, 3207 chipset bucket brigade topology Mini toggle switch selects between chorus and vibrato effects Three available waveform types (sine, square, and triangle) Intuitive controls for Volume, EQ, Speed, and Depth Updated Tone Shaping Capabilities Making a good thing better? Yes please. The Emperor V1 had a Tone control which has now become the EQ control in the Emperor V2. We've replaced the passive tone control in the V1 with an active EQ control that functions as a Tilt. You'll now have much more tone shaping capability in the V2. The overall EQ control is much improved in the Emperor V2 and you will not lose any low-end sometimes commonly found with chorus/vibrato pedals. In-depth tempo control To control the rate of the Emperor’s effect, simply turn the Speed knob up and down or tap the tap tempo footsw...

JHS Pedals Kodiak Tremolo

JHS Pedals Kodiak Tremolo

The JHS Kodiak is an all-encompassing tremolo designed to give you a classic clean modulation with loads of variety. Appropriately designed with a bear graphic, the Kodiak will wrap your tone in its furry effect. Ratio and Wave settings Use the ratio and wave knobs to get the most expansive array of sounds out of the Kodiak. Using the ratio, switch between quarter notes, eighth notes, triplets and sixteenths for increasingly faster speeds. Pick from Rhythmic, Square and Ramp soundwaves to drastically alter the timing and stutter of the effect. This Kodiak has a wealth of variation for unique takes on tremolo, like a classic choppy effect or shoegaze warbles. A wet dial lets you blend the effect into the guitar signal, from dry to fully wet. Roll back on this and up on the volume to act as a preamp or driven boost. The speed does exactly was it says on the tin, offering everything from lingering passes to quick fluctuations. Each dip cuts sound entirely so there's no bleed from overdrive or general noisiness. Go nuts experimenting with different pedal combinations. Tap Tempo You'll notice the two footswitches on the standard-sized stompbox. One being tap tempo, as this pedal is designed to work musically with your sound rather than random and dysfunctional. Simply press on it in time with the BPM of what you're playing to produce a rhythm-minded tremolo. Flick the switch on the side of the pedal to hook the Kodiak up with an expression pedal. This way you can change the rate on the fly for versatile live use. Specifications Standard 9V DC Negative power Consumes 10mA Measures 2.6"x4.8"x1.6" Expression Jack Tap Tempo Controls: Volume, Speed, Mix, Ratio, Wave

JHS Pedals Angry Charlie Overdrive / Distortion v3

JHS Pedals Angry Charlie Overdrive / Distortion v3

The Angry Charlie has become a staple of the JHS line over the years. In the V3, we set out to keep everything that has made it a star in place while adding some tweaks for even greater flexibility and usability. The V3 is a force to be reckoned with in the high gain pedal territory. It convincingly and accurately breathes JCM800 tones with ease. The Angry Charlie has five controls: Volume, Drive, Bass, Mids and Treble. The Volume control acts as a standard master volume control on an amplifier. Simply turn the control to the right and you are louder, turn it to the left and you are quieter. The Drive control decides the amount of overall dirt/overdrive that enters the signal path. Turn it up for more distortion and down for less. New to the V3 are the Bass, Mids, and Treble controls. To faithfully replicate a Marshall amplifier we felt it was time to incorporate a full Marshall-style tone stack. All three of these controls act as a cut and boost, while at noon they are relatively flat. The right 1/4" jack is the input, and the left is the output. If you are a glutton for high gain overdrive/distortion that has a British flavor full of rich bass response, thick mids, and a balanced high-end response, the Angry Charlie V3 will change your life. Well, your gear life. This pedal requires standard 9V DC Negative power, consumes less than 100mA, and measures 2.2"x4.3"x1.5".

JHS Pedals Milkman Tape Delay Echo w/ Onboard Booster Enhancer

JHS Pedals Milkman Tape Delay Echo w/ Onboard Booster Enhancer

Here's what JHS pedals say about the Milkman pedal The Milkman is a collaborative idea between Josh Scott of JHS Pedals and Tim Marcus of Milkman Sound. The concept is simple; a single pedal that offers up an echo/slap delay and a boost that can be used as an always-on enhancer or as an overdrive for small wattage amplifiers. Josh designed the circuit in late 2016 and here we are, a small footprint, easy to use boost/echo 2-in-1 that fits into any style players rig with ease. Let's look at the controls. The right side of the pedal is the boost side. This boost is a discreet amplifier based circuit with tons of power and character. Simply set it low at unity gain for an always-on enhancer that fattens up and clarifies your tone, or turn more clockwise to push your tube amplifier into sweet natural overdrive. The left side of the pedal is the echo/slap delay circuit. This circuit is designed to be a hybrid of tape echo and analog BBD delay. The controls are simple and it sounds good in every setting. The “Slap” knob is the amount of delay time. As you turn the knob up, you will get longer delay times. Keep in mind, this pedal is designed for shorter vintage slap-back delay times. The “Mix” knob is the effect level. Full counter clockwise is all dry and full clockwise is full wet/effect. The “Repeat” knob controls how many echoes or repeats you get. The minimum is one and maximum is around 4.5 repeats. "Repeat" knob lets you fine tune how many delays you will get. Lastly is the “EQ” knob. This control only affects the repeat delay signal so that you can perfectly adjust the brightness or darkness of your echo. When fully counter clockwise the repeats are at their darkest much like an old BBD analog delay. When fully clockwise the repeats are the brightest they will be with more grit, this is much like a classic tape delay machine. The footswitching is our typical 2 in 1 arrangement where either effect can be used separately or together. The foot switch on the left, ...

JHS Pedals Haunting Mids EQ Pedal

JHS Pedals Haunting Mids EQ Pedal

If your guitar tone needs to cut through a mix, or if you want to recreate classic full range frequencies, the Haunting Mids EQ by JHS is frighteningly perfect. The Haunting Mids is a simple, yet extremely useful sound-defining pedal. Metal players will favour it for the added sharpness, while blues players can reduce the mids to let highs and lows shine through for sweet leads. Boost or scoop Mids and sweep dials work closely together in shaping what you get out of the Haunting Mids. Left of 12 o'clock on the mids will scoop out mids from the EQ, while turning clockwise make midrange frequencies more prominent. It's great for modern guitarists looking to get a punchy attack. The sweep knob varies what frequencies are affected, but it low or high-mids. Lo/Hi toggle The Lo/Hi toggle acts as another frequency control, but on a larger scale than the sweep. On Lo, the effect of the mids is softer and wider. On Hi the pedal is more noticeable. It becomes pointed and defined. Simply use the volume knob to get up to +10dB of clean boost when the mids knob is setting to 12 o'clock. It works great with a close to breaking amp setting to push it over the edge. Specifications Will boost +10dB with EQ flat Total Harmonic Distortion 0.007% Signal to noise ration 83dB +/- 15dB boost or cut Sweepable center frequency from 400Hz to 7.5kHz Switchable Q (LO-gentle broad, HI-peaking tight) Requires standard 9V DC Negative power Consumes 10mA Measures 2.6"x4.8"x1.6"

JHS Pedals Switchback Box

JHS Pedals Switchback Box

The JHS Pedals Switchback is a box of many surprises. Starting off life on the floor of the JHS testing room, it developed into its fully-fledged form when the techies realised its usefulness in everyone's guitar setup. It has one input, one output and two switchable effects loops with their own send and return jacks. It also has an A/B toggle that can be controlled by the JHS true bypass Red Remote switching system for complete control. A/B Looper First off, you can use the Switchback to quickly change between two effects loops. Great if you have ready-to-go effect chains, or if you want to compare two pedals at the flick of a switch. Leave one loop clear if you want to go from effects into a clean signal the other side. A/B Box JHS Pedals know how to make a great A/B switcher - completely reliable, quiet switching and free from hum. Send signals to two different amps. You could even apply this to two channels on the one amp. If you have a vintage amp with an input each for two channels, you can switch between these on the fly with the Switchback. Effects Loop If your amp is lacking an effects loop, simply use the Switchback! It won't muddy the effects together with those going straight into the amp, just like an inbuilt loop. All of this is twice as handy with the Red Remote accessory so you can switch your sound mid-performance.

JHS Pedals Tidewater Tremolo Pedal

JHS Pedals Tidewater Tremolo Pedal

The JHS Pedals Tidewater is a sonic wave of vintage 'blackface' tremolo, drenching your tone in classy character. Original brownface and blackface amps are extremely sought-after, not only because of their earthy sound, but their built-in tremolo. The Tidewater emulates that classic modulation, so you can give your rig a retro sound dip effect. Controls Utilising only three controls, the Tidewater is effortless to work with. JHS Pedals Muffaletta Fuzz Pedal

JHS Pedals Muffaletta Fuzz Pedal

The Big Muff has been around since the 60's and has inspired hundreds of different guitarists throughout the years. One of the biggest questions when looking for one of these legendary fuzzes is 'which one do i go for?'. Now you no longer need to choose between a myriad of different versions when you have the JHS Muffaletta delivering them all at once. Nothing Digital Inside There are of course digital pedals that claim to have all the fuzz sounds you will ever need. They never react or respond like a real big muff circuit though. Knowing this JHS fought to fit 6 completely analogue fuzz circuits all in one pedal. With this you get the real response and tone you have been hunting for. 6 Modes If you wanted to get each of these circuits individually not only would it take a lot of time but it would also cost an incredible amount of money due to the rarity of some models. The JHS matches 5 classic Big Muff circuits part for part, value for value so you get the same tone as the legends that used them before. Ranging from beautifully bright and tight fuzzes to glitch wonders JHS have gone through all of the best versions of this circuit throughout history. The Civil War: Midrange heave with a bright tone. relatively low gain in comparison The Pi: The best known big muff circuit. Very aggressive and tight. '73 Rams Head: Lower gain with a darker tone. Scooped midrange. The Triangle: Very articulate with a lot of low end punch. The Russian: Not very clear and without much low end. JHS 2015: Much more powerful with less compression and a tonne of midrange. The best option for bassists. The Controls Big Muff fuzzes always had 3 controls. Volume, Sustain and Tone. The tone controls however were normally really shoddy with either a shallow range overall or only sounded good in one position. JHS did not want to put out a fuzz with this issue so they went hunting and found an old Russian Big Muff that had a really smooth tone taper. This means a more usable tone control on a...
