Great Astetics 3000:1 CS ratio VA monitor.

Summary

When my buddies told me that if I wanted an everyday monitor with great color contrast and movies playback capability I should get a VA panel I listened. I’m quite happy too; because the quality of movie playback definitely surpasses the capability of the IPS I have at my office. I’m not sure if all VA panels can replicate the same superior image quality but the EW2430 certainly can.

How long have you used the product?

Less than 1 month

What are the strengths?: It also does a very good job with matching the sharpness and color accuracy that I find on my large plasma. In all angles the monitor looks very well distributed and those seeking for professional editing capability would definitely find this as a cheap substitute from an IPS model. The silver/aluminum finishes on the bezel is really professionally done it gives the entire monitor a really pricey feel. The additional advantages to most other users will probably be the abundant connectivity on this monitor, which are well and spaciously placed. I think this is well designed on behalf of the manufacturer, and is a very important aspect because I’ve seen monitors poorly designed where you end up having cables competing over dominance and one not fitting in because of another cable getting in the way.

What are the weaknesses?: Weak speakers.
