Låg service kvalite!!!

Fick den från Boxer. Den har aldrig fungerat trots att Sagem udaterat programvaran. Har varit tvungen att läga ned ca 4-5 timmar mad problem.

Jag fick boxen för 1Kr när jag tecknade mitt abonnemang och det är den ju definitivt värd. Det är en box helt utan krusiduller, men den gör vad den skall bra

Mindre än 1 månad

Vad är positivt?: Liten och smidig i formatet, dubbla scartkontakter samt antennutgång.

Vad är negativt?: Över halva programkortet sticker ut ur mottageren när man satt det på plats. Som gjort för att brytas av eller tas ut av barn (eller vuxna med för de delen) :-)
Fjärrkontrollen är mycket dåligt designad, små och ologiskt placerade knappar, funderar på att skaffa mig en universalfjärr istället.

Good but has one annoying bug

Pioneer set-top digibox

Summary

This an decent budget digibox that has just about every feature you might want, including two SCARTs, a decent and easy-to-use programme guide and is reasonably quick to turn on and off (a problem with some digiboxes).

However, the "update channel" function (whereby the box notices there are new channels to be added to the its master list) has a daft bug which the company should sort with a firmware update. Every time it detects new channels are avilable, it interrupts your TV watching and insists you download the new list. This feature can't be turned off or ignored - you have to download the list or it just keeps asking you. Furthermore, it overwrites you favourites list unless you exit after every update. There should really be an option whereby you can manulay enable a new channel list search every now and again rather than having the box demand you do things its way.

I'd still recommend the product because I believe this feature could probably be sorted by an on-air upgr

Summary

Buy you will not be dissapointed if your area is covered by Freeview this box will pull in the signal with crystal clear quality.

How long have you used the product?

Less than 1 month

What are the strengths?: This product is excellent value for money£49.99 at woolworths and comet it was up and running in 10 minutes but make sure that you have a spare flylead from the box to the tv,like the one that comes with a video player.The on screen EPG is very usefull with more information than Skys and is easy to use.The box has been taken around to a lot of the family and have bought there own now as a result they all wanted to own one but were scared to take the plunge as a lot of retailers will not take them back if they do not work with your old aerial or in your postcode. One final tip buy a plug in aerial booster before the box and it will double your signal quality, my mother in laws picture was dreadfull when she moved to her new house and has now been liberated to ITV2 and QVC, buy this it is quality kit.

What are the weaknesses?: Instruction leaflet is confusing, as a few models are covered and you read something that you later find out may not apply to your model number.
